Achievements

We are proud of what we have done:

  • Successful delivery of over £500,000 worth of projects on time, in budget and meeting outcomes for a range of funders including Nottingham City, The National Lottery, The Tudor Trust, Disadvantaged Subsidy, EIP, Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, Lloyds Bank Foundation, One Nottingham, Renewal Trust, Ending Gang and Youth Violence, Winnifred Potter and Children in Need.
  • Invited to the Houses of Parliament to speak to MPs and charity CEOs about the impact of CYF’s work
Painting
  • The Tudor Trust commissioned an independent evaluation of CYS work to capture and disseminate learning
  • Contracts with local schools to deliver interventions to children facing the greatest barriers to reaching academic potential
  • Developed and delivered ‘The Chase’ - a feature length film scripted, acted and shot by young people aged 25 and under, depicting their experiences of growing up in inner-city Nottingham. The Chase now has 6 million views on Youtube and is used as an educational tool by schools, youth projects, special education providers and youth offending teams across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
  • Work in Nottingham Primary school rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted
